Dance has been a central driving force throughout Jean Anne’s life. Her background includes performing as a dancer with the WAVES dance company, where she also served as Assistant to the Choreographer and Dance Captain. Over her career, she has shared her expertise by teaching instructional classes for organizations such as the WAVES company, Pennsylvania Ballet, Bryn Mawr College, College of the Performing Arts, and masters dance classes for Dance Masters and ITDL. Additionally, she previously owned JazzWorks Dance Studio and worked as the choreographer of The Company in Philadelphia.

Alongside her professional dance background, Jean Anne has served as a dedicated geriatric nurse for over twenty years. The idea for Look Who's Dancing was sparked when a former dance colleague invited her to teach a movement class for a special needs facility. Partnering with her sister, Helene, she helped create Look Who's Dancing to combine her passion for service with her background in dance and caregiving, bringing accessible exercise to individuals who might otherwise lack these opportunities.
